The name "Happy Tails" is a tribute to my first Labrador, Sharona's Sweet Dream O'Rayne ~ "Rayne". It is with great sadness that we had to say "good-bye" to our beloved canine companion on March 18, 2010 ~ just 3 ½ months shy of her 13th birthday. Rayne (aka "Girlie") was a wonderful Labrador & cherished family member who blessed us with countless hours of happiness, unconditional love & companionship. A lovely black dog and our first show dog, Rayne taught us many things about showing and breeding and the breed in general. She was a "true Lab" in every sense of the word --- from her delightful temperament to her keen retrieving ability. Rayne would do anything you asked her to (especially if treats were involved!). She enjoyed playing "mom" to all of the puppies born and raised at our kennel. She is greatly missed, but fondly remembered for her intelligence, willingness to please, gentleness & loving nature --- and her %u201Chappy tail%u201D that was forever wagging!

We are blessed to have shared our lives with such an amazing animal. Rayne was truly a gift from God. She was such a good dog and my %u201Csweet dream%u201D come true!

Rayne%u2019s legacy and loving ways continue to live on through her offspring and the Happy Tails name.
